Pedal Power for Charity
Windsor School teachers John Grant and Phil Oakley set out from Windsor School after school on Friday 19th June on their marathon ride to the Brandenberg Gate in Berlin, a massive distance of over 400 miles. Both teachers are keen cyclists and train regularly to improve their fitness.

This event was seen as a crazy challenge set by themselves and to help get the Windsor School Sponsored Walk appeal off with a real bang.

This year's chosen charity is the Forces Children's Trust which supports children of service personnel killed or injured in action.

Leaving school at the end of the school day the intrepid pair reached Hamm by late evening. After an overnight stop they then pushed on to just south of Hannover for another overnight stop. Off at first light on Sunday the two riders pushed on to, and reached, Berlin early evening. A fantastic achievement.
