Ed braves heat to raise cash. |
 Normally 25 degree plus temperatures are most welcome in the UK. However, when you competing in any sort of physical endeavour, it's just what you don't need. The body is quick to overheat, and in an attempt to cool itself, dehydration can follow.
These were the conditions that Ed Hobson encountered in the Wallingford Thames 10K run on the 7th June 2009. Despite the searing heat, he completed the course in 53 minutes 21 seconds, and raised £525 for the Forces Childrens Trust. Well done Ed! |
