Windsor School teachers John Grant and Phil Oakley set out from Windsor School after school on Friday 19th June on their marathon ride to the Brandenberg Gate in Berlin, a massive distance of over 400 miles. Both teachers are keen cyclists and train regularly to improve their fitness.

 

This event was seen as a crazy challenge set by themselves and to help get the Windsor School Sponsored Walk appeal off with a real bang.

 

The London Branch of the Royal Military Police Association (RMPA) has donated £1,000 to the Forces Children’s Trust (FCT).

Founded by Denny Wise, the Surrey-based charity is motivated by the belief that “to help a child is an honour.” Its focus is on helping children in need whose father or mother has died or has been seriously injured whilst serving as a member of the British Armed Forces.
