A recent email demonstrates the type of generosity for which the FCT is most grateful:
Hi My name is Anna Johnson, this summer I shall be marrying my partner who is a serving member of the RAF Regt.We are asking our guests to not buy wedding gifts as we would rather they made donations to two chosen charities. I have chosen Forces Children's trust and Troop Aid. I have chosen FCT as I am very aware of the help and support given to the children during such a traumatic time.
FCT, with Noel Edmonds, helped my two Neices take a trip to Lapland in 2007 to meet Santa, their Daddy, my brother, Flt Lt Steve Johnson was killed in Afghanistan in September 2006. I would like to give something back for the help FCT gave them. |
