Mary Poppins Trip PDF Print E-mail

Read more...On the weekend of 25th -26th November 2006 we organised our first outing, the party of 43 consisting of Army widows and children visited London for a children's fun weekend sponsored by the Forces Children's Trust.

 

Enjoying a visit to the theatre to see Mary Poppins, the children were thrilled at the end of the performance when Mary Poppins (Scarlet Strallen) and Bert - the sweep (Gavin Lee) came to meet them and pose for photographs.

Party at Pencarrow a great success! PDF Print E-mail

The event at Pencarrow House was a great success and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all involved especially Lady Molesworth-St. Aubyn for allowing us to use her home, the RAF for the flypast, Peter Old of Bodmin Rotary Club and John Perrin for sponsoring the event.
