With over half a million pounds pledged to date and benefitting some 236 different charities - it’s hard to believe that the 2010 Colourthon will only be our fourth! In this short time it has established itself as one of the top charity events in Essex. We believe this success is due mainly to the fact that anyone can walk* for any registered charity of their choice.

The ethos behind the Colourthon Events remains to provide predominately smaller charities with the facility to raise much needed funds for their particular cause. The Colourthon consists of two events the ‘Moonlight Colourthon’ and ‘Sunlight Colourthon’ which are, in essence, sponsored walks but with a difference. Walkers of the ‘Moonlight Colourthon’ will walk a half marathon (13.1 miles) at night and are encouraged to dress as brightly as their imagination will allow them to! This year’s event sets off from Chalkwell Park at 8pm on Saturday 3rd July, 2010.

This is the first of many events that Mac & Woo will take part in to raise funds for the Forces Children's Trust.
